The Lowell ESP Series coaxial compression driver pendant speakers are engineered specifically for installed audio environments where architectural constraints prevent uniform in-ceiling placement. Designed as acoustic matches to the ES Series recessed speakers, these 8-inch coaxial pendant units allow system designers to maintain consistent frequency response and coverage continuity across zones that combine open-plenum, exposed-structure, or hard-lid ceilings. This makes them a practical tool for houses of worship, hospitality venues, retail environments, and any commercial installation where visual ceiling types change but audio quality cannot.
The tapered enclosure features a press-fit grille and a magnetic-mount top plate that snaps into place to conceal wiring connections and the integral bracket. Mounting flexibility is a core design priority. The built-in bracket supports cable or pipe suspension, and threaded side insert points accept an optional U-bracket for wall or truss applications when hanging is not practical. Available with or without a transformer to suit both 70V distributed systems and low-impedance installations, the ESP Series covers a wide range of system architectures without requiring a separate product family.
