The Lowell FDC4-2T is a 2U rack-mount fan panel designed for AV integrators and systems engineers who need reliable, automatic thermal management in standard 19-inch equipment racks. The built-in thermostat probe continuously monitors ambient temperature and modulates fan speed accordingly, eliminating the need for manual intervention and reducing unnecessary noise during low-load periods.

Its universal input power supply accepts 100-240VAC and ships with four plug adapters covering North American, European, British, and Australian standards, making it a practical choice for touring production rigs, permanent installs in international venues, broadcast facilities, and rental inventory that travels across regions. Four fans with protective guards move airflow across rack-mounted gear where passive ventilation is insufficient.

Compared to fixed-speed fan panels, the variable thermostat control on the FDC4-2T extends fan motor life and keeps rack noise at a minimum when thermal load is low.
