The Lowell IWB-PB2 is a steel power bracket engineered for integration inside Lowell in-wall enclosures, specifically the IWB-1414, IWBK-1414, and IWB-2214 models. It is the purpose-built solution for AV integrators who need a reliable 120VAC power source contained within the wall box itself, keeping installations clean and code-friendly.
In permanent install environments such as conference rooms, houses of worship, classrooms, and hospitality AV deployments, surface-run power cords create both aesthetic and compliance problems. The IWB-PB2 eliminates that issue by mounting directly inside the enclosure and providing two NEMA 5-15R duplex outlets ready for field wiring through a provided 1/2 inch knockout. The steel chassis construction ensures durability in enclosed spaces where heat and physical stress are ongoing concerns.
Note that some in-wall box models require removal of an elevated panel before the bracket will fit. Manufactured in the U.S.A. with global components, the IWB-PB2 is a direct Lowell ecosystem accessory rather than a generic aftermarket bracket, ensuring accurate fit and consistent quality across Lowell enclosure installations.
