The Lowell LBS4-R is a formed steel tile bridge engineered for AV integrators installing 4-inch ceiling speakers in suspended 2x2 or 2x4 tile grid systems. By spanning the ceiling grid and transferring speaker assembly weight to the structural support above, the LBS4-R prevents tiles from sagging over time and preserves the finished appearance of the installation. This is a practical requirement in commercial installs where aesthetics and building code compliance both matter.
Designed specifically for infinite baffle applications, the LBS4-R does not accommodate a backbox. This makes it the right choice for installations where the plenum space serves as the baffle volume, and where a separate enclosure is neither required nor permitted.
