Lowell LFD Front Door for 22"/23"W Rack Surface-Mount Locking | 10U | Fully Vented Steel

The Lowell LFD series provides integrators and AV system designers with a purpose-built surface-mount front door solution for Lowell 22-inch and 23-inch wide installed racks, including LDTR, LER, LGR, LGNR, LGTR, LPR, LSER, LSGR, LWBR, LWR, and LWSR series enclosures. The series spans a broad range of rack unit heights and three door construction types, fully vented steel, solid steel, and smoked plexiglass, allowing specifiers to match security, airflow, and visibility requirements to the demands of each installation.

Each door extends 1 inch from the rack frame, preserving clearance for equipment knobs, and mounts using nutserts provided with the specified rack. The reversible hinge design supports both left-hand and right-hand swing, and the full 180-degree arc accommodates tight equipment rooms where access flexibility is essential. An integral recessed handle and keyed lock secure the enclosure, with the lock keyed differently from the rack's recessed rear door to maintain separate access control at the front and rear of the system.

Manufactured in the USA from USA-certified steel where applicable, the LFD series carries Trade Agreement Act and Buy American Act compliance, making it a direct fit for government, education, and other public-sector AV installations subject to procurement regulations. Concealed screw covers deliver a finished appearance consistent with professional installed environments.
