The Lowell LHFR Series half-width open frame rack is built for AV integrators and system designers who need to house non-standard electronics where a full-width rack is impractical or unavailable. The open frame design accepts equipment mounted from the front, back, or either side, giving installers flexibility that closed rack enclosures simply cannot match. Fixed mounting rails are tapped 10-32 on all four sides, so panels and modules can be oriented to fit the signal flow of the installation rather than the constraints of the cabinet.
Constructed from 16-gauge welded steel with a smooth black powder epoxy finish, the LHFR Series is a permanent, professional-grade solution suited for in-wall, above-ceiling, furniture, and millwork installations. Grounding studs are included for clean electrical bonding, and multiple holes and slots throughout the frame simplify cable routing without aftermarket hardware. The rack ships ready to install, reducing labor time on the job site. Optional blank panels, fan panels, and power panels are available to complete the build.
