The Lowell LMNB Series mobile base is engineered for production environments where heavy rack systems must remain repositionable without sacrificing structural integrity. Designed specifically for Lowell LGNR 22-inch wide rack frames, it mounts inside the rack and creates a floor that sits flush to the lowest rack space, keeping equipment accessible and properly supported regardless of load.
System integrators and touring production teams rely on this base when specifying racks that carry amplifiers, power conditioners, or other high-mass gear at the bottom of the frame. The bolt-on installation method keeps the base firmly registered to the rack structure, and the integrated swivel casters allow the entire system to be rolled into position on the venue floor or in a permanent install room. Cable management is addressed through a center opening and side pass-through openings, so technicians can route power and signal without compromising the rack's footprint.
Compared to aftermarket or universal caster plates, the LMNB Series is designed from the ground up for LGNR frame geometry, ensuring fit without shimming or modification. Fully-welded 14-gauge steel construction and a black-wrinkle powder coat finish hold up under repeated transport and daily production use. The series is available in two depths to match the rack depth in use.
