The Lowell 8-inch dual cone lay-in tile ceiling speaker is engineered for commercial paging and background music installations in suspended tile ceiling environments. The patented integral T-bar support eliminates custom bracketing by directly replacing half of a non-tegular 2x2 ceiling tile or one-fourth of a non-tegular 2x4 ceiling tile, cutting installation time significantly on large-scale deployments. Each unit ships with a 1x2 fine perforation grille and sub-plate for a clean, finished ceiling appearance.

This product family is offered in multiple configurations to match the exact requirements of each install. Transformer options cover 25V and 70V distributed audio systems as well as direct-drive setups. Enclosure options include a backbox for acoustic isolation or an infinite baffle configuration where plenum space serves as the enclosure. A volume control variant is also available for zones that require individual level adjustment.
