The 3U main compartment holds vertically oriented equipment and opens with built-in dampers that control the rate of descent, preventing uncontrolled drops that could damage gear or injure personnel. The 3U top compartment mounts horizontal control panels and swings out on a hinge for direct cable and connector access without removing the unit from the wall.

Fixed rails in the main bay pivot down to simplify cable management at the rear of the rack, a practical detail that saves time during commissioning and service calls. Both bays lock with a single key, reducing hardware and streamlining security in multi-rack installations. Knockouts on the top, bottom, and rear panels plus a 1-inch cable raceway on each side give installers multiple conduit entry options without field drilling.
