The Lowell LUH-15TX is a 15W paging horn designed for facility-wide signaling and distributed audio systems in commercial, industrial, and institutional environments. Its aluminum housing with moisture-seal cover makes it suitable for both interior and exterior locations, including washdown or weather-exposed spaces where plastic enclosures would fall short.
Systems integrators and AV installers will appreciate the screwdriver-adjustable transformer, which supports 25V, 70V, and 100V distributed audio lines as well as an 8-ohm bypass input. This flexibility eliminates the need for additional matching transformers and simplifies deployment across mixed-impedance systems. Two-wire hookup via pigtail or waterproof gland-type cable fitting keeps field installation straightforward. The LUH-15TX accepts a standard EIA grille for an 8-inch speaker, allowing UL-listed retrofit installs in existing openings. Note that a grille, trim ring, and mounting dogs are not included and must be sourced separately. For a version that includes those accessories, the LUH-15TA is the appropriate alternative.
