The Lowell LUH-VRG is a purpose-built protective grille designed for installed audio environments where speaker damage from vandalism or physical abuse is a real operational concern. Compatible with Lowell Unihorn models LUH-15TA and LUH-15TX, this grille is the specified solution for correctional facilities, transportation terminals, manufacturing floors, hospitals, schools, and distribution centers where standard grilles would not survive daily exposure.
Constructed from cast aluminum with a secondary stainless steel barrier screen, the LUH-VRG delivers a level of physical protection that plastic or stamped-steel alternatives cannot match. The Network Grey powder epoxy finish provides corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor installations, making this grille a practical choice for integrators specifying rugged paging and background music systems in demanding environments. Tamper-resistant spanner screws deter unauthorized removal, an essential feature in public-facing or security-sensitive installs. The grille mounts directly to the Unihorn trim ring or, using the included stainless steel nuts, directly to the Unihorn itself when no trim ring is present, giving installers flexibility in how the system is configured on site.
