The Lowell LVR Series VARI-RACK is built for AV integrators and systems contractors who need a rack solution that adapts to the installation rather than forcing the installation to adapt to the rack. The slim, open-frame construction fits inside millwork cabinets, equipment closets, and credenzas where panel-style enclosures are too deep or too large. The adjustable depth lets technicians dial in the fit on-site, and corner-post rails include cut-marks so the height can be trimmed if the rough opening demands it.
Available in 8U and 14U rack heights, and in two depth ranges to cover shallow and standard-depth cavities, the LVR Series gives integrators a single product family that spans a wide range of residential, commercial, and light-institutional installs. The open-frame design promotes natural airflow around equipment, and the front and rear ventilation cutouts plus rear cable-management holes make it practical for real-world AV builds, not just clean demo environments.
The steel construction uses 14-gauge material for the top and base and 11-gauge steel for the corner-post rails, tapped 10-32, which is the standard thread spec for rackmount hardware across the industry. A smooth black powder-coat finish presents cleanly inside finished cabinetry. Unlike fixed-depth competitors that ship ready to install only in ideal conditions, the LVR Series ships unassembled in two boxes with top and base factory-assembled except for the depth setting, keeping freight manageable and final configuration in the hands of the installer.
