The Lowell LWR Series is built for AV integrators and system installers who need a permanent, wall-mounted equipment rack that doesn't sacrifice serviceability. The sectional design separates a front mounting section from a fixed backbox, letting technicians swing the front open to reach cabling, patch bays, and rear-panel connections without removing the rack from the wall. That practical advantage makes this series a reliable choice for distributed audio systems, installed DSP and amplifier racks, paging systems, and AV control rooms where long-term maintenance access is a real operational concern.

Construction centers on welded 16-gauge USA-certified steel with fully-gusseted corners and a triple-formed wrap design that resists racking under load. The front mounting section locks to the backbox via heavy-duty spring-loaded L-pins that are self-seating and positive-locking, so the unit closes securely without tools. A roller closure and draw latch keep the front panel shut without requiring a keyed lock on every visit, while two keyed side locks on the backbox protect the installation from unauthorized access. Keyhole mounting slots, center opening for electrical pull boxes, a grounding stud, and knockout panels on the top and bottom simplify rough-in and finish the installation to a professional standard.

Inside, one pair of adjustable 10-32 tapped mounting rails with a printed RU scale accommodates standard rack equipment, and EIA-spaced integral top and bottom rails support cable lacing or additional mounting accessories. Pilot point screws with captive washers speed assembly and prevent dropped hardware during service. The black-textured powder-coat finish integrates cleanly into finished AV spaces, and an optional front door can be ordered separately for applications that require a fully enclosed presentation.
