The Lowell LWSR Series is designed for AV integrators and system installers who need a reliable, wall-mounted rack solution with practical rear-access capability. The two-part construction separates the backbox from the front mounting section, allowing the front to swing open a full 90 degrees for straightforward access to cable terminations, rear equipment connections, and wiring without demounting the enclosure. Available in 7U, 10U, 12U, and 16U configurations, the series scales to fit everything from small control rooms and conference spaces to larger distributed audio and video installations.
The 16-gauge steel backbox provides the structural backbone for the system. Two center locks secure the enclosure, and a 10-inch wide center wiring path with integral laser-cut knockout panels on the top and bottom manages cable ingress cleanly. The front mounting section attaches via heavy-duty bolts through steel fasteners with securing nuts, and the installer can choose right- or left-hand swing orientation to suit the room layout. Welded sides with top and bottom vents on the mounting section support passive airflow for installed electronics.
Fixed-position 10-32 tapped rails are included as standard, with optional RRTBF rear rail brackets available to convert fixed rails to adjustable and add rear rail support for deeper equipment. An optional front door is also available for installations where panel protection or aesthetics are a priority. The black-textured powder-coat finish suits both exposed and semi-concealed installs.
