The Lowell RPC-3N1 is built for AV integrators and system designers who need reliable, low-voltage remote power switching in installed sound, boardroom, house of worship, and production facility environments. Its three individually controlled duplex outlet groups allow independent sequencing of amplifiers, signal processors, displays, or other rack gear without requiring direct physical access to the equipment rack.
Unlike basic power strips or switched PDUs that rely on manual switching or networked control, the RPC-3N1 activates via contact closures between the common terminal and numbered control terminals, making it compatible with a wide range of room control systems, wall plates, and automation triggers. The barrier strip connection method keeps wiring clean and serviceable in permanent installations. A built-in circuit breaker and relay with power supply are integrated into the chassis, reducing the need for external control components. The 6-foot attached cord with a NEMA 5-15 molded plug connects directly to standard circuits without adapters.
The RPC Series is designed to work alongside compatible switches, modules, and sequential control devices, giving integrators a modular path to more complex power sequencing schemes. A remote trigger device is required for activation and must be ordered separately, making the RPC-3N1 the core switching unit within a broader low-voltage control infrastructure.
