The Lowell RPC-P15-S is designed for AV integrators and systems engineers who need distributed, low-voltage control of AC power across multiple remote equipment locations. Installed in racks, ceilings, or back-of-house enclosures, each unit accepts a simple RJ45 daisy-chain connection from a compatible sequencer or relay, eliminating the need for individual high-voltage wiring runs to every device. This approach is especially practical in fixed-install environments such as conference rooms, houses of worship, lecture halls, and retail display systems where power startup order directly affects system stability and equipment longevity.
Each module includes a DIP switch that sets its position in the startup sequence, so the order can be revised on-site without rewiring. Only the first unit in a chain requires a direct connection to a compatible sequencer such as the SEQ-P4, and up to 20 RPC-P units can be linked per step. The duplex NEMA 5-15R outlet configuration provides two AC receptacles per module, covering a wide range of rack and field equipment. Integrated surge suppression adds a layer of protection for connected gear without requiring a separate device. For integrators spec-ing scalable power control into permanent installations, the RPC-P15-S offers a cost-effective and field-configurable solution that keeps high-voltage wiring centralized while distributing control throughout the system.
