The Lowell RPC-P20-SCD is engineered for AV integrators who need reliable, low-voltage-controlled AC power sequencing in permanent installations. Working alongside a compatible sequencer such as the SEQ-P4, it provides a clean method to manage startup and shutdown order for amplifiers, displays, signal processors, and other rack-mounted equipment without high-voltage switching at the control point. Each unit's DIP switch sets its position in the startup chain, making reordering as simple as toggling switches rather than rewiring.

The dual RJ45 pass-thru jacks accelerate installation in multi-unit deployments. Only the first module in a daisy chain requires a direct sequencer connection, and up to 20 RPC-P units can be linked per step, giving integrators the flexibility to scale control across large equipment rooms or distributed racks. Compatible relays can also be incorporated to consolidate control to a single location across the entire installation.

For integrators specifying permanent installs in boardrooms, houses of worship, broadcast facilities, or education environments, the RPC-P20-SCD adds a layer of protection with 20,000A maximum surge suppression. The steel chassis provides durability in rack or back-of-rack mounting scenarios, and the NEMA 5-20R duplex outlet accommodates 20A loads. Where other basic relay controllers leave surge protection as an afterthought, the SCD variant integrates it into a compact, purpose-built unit.
