The Lowell RPC-P20-SHW is a 20A remote power control module designed for AV system integrators who need reliable, low-voltage-triggered AC switching in installed environments. It connects to a compatible sequencer or relay to bring up remote equipment in a defined startup order, making it well suited for boardrooms, houses of worship, education facilities, and any installed AV rack where power sequencing protects amplifiers, displays, and signal processors from inrush damage.
Each unit uses an onboard DIP switch to set its position in the startup chain, so integrators can adjust sequencing order without touching any wiring. Dual pass-thru RJ45 jacks simplify daisy-chaining across a rack, and only the first module in a series needs a direct connection to the sequencer. Up to 20 RPC-P units can be linked per step, giving large-scale installs the flexibility to scale without additional sequencer outputs.
The steel chassis and included surge suppression add durability and basic protection appropriate for permanent installations. The NEMA 5-20R duplex outlet and 125VAC/20A rating cover standard North American branch circuit capacity, while the 6-foot flexible non-metallic conduit inlet keeps field termination straightforward for electricians and low-voltage technicians alike.
