The Lowell RY-P1 is a single-relay module designed for AV installation professionals who need reliable, low-voltage triggered switching integrated into a sequenced power system. Built around one DPDT relay rated at 5A and 250VAC/30VDC, it can switch virtually any AC or DC load encountered in a fixed installation, from amplifiers and projectors to motorized screens and signal processors.
Twin pass-thru RJ45 jacks allow the RY-P1 to connect directly to a compatible Lowell sequencer, specifically the SEQ-P4 or SEQR-P4, using standard Cat5 or Cat6 cable. This daisy-chain architecture eliminates custom wiring harnesses and reduces installation time in rack and in-wall deployments. Three independent DC voltage outputs at 5VDC, 12VDC, and 24VDC provide flexible trigger control for downstream devices that require a logic-level or voltage trigger rather than a relay contact closure.
Housed in a steel chassis and powered by an included 100-240VAC universal power supply with a 24VDC 500mA output, the RY-P1 fits naturally into commercial AV, houses of worship, corporate, and education installations where sequenced power control and clean, repeatable system automation are required. For installers already using Lowell's pass-thru ecosystem, the RY-P1 extends relay switching capability without adding a separate control bus.
