The Lowell SEQR Power Sequencer series is designed for AV integrators and system engineers who need reliable, time-delayed power control across distributed equipment. Working in conjunction with compatible remote power controls and relay devices, the sequencer activates and deactivates connected systems in a defined order, protecting amplifiers, DSPs, displays, and accessory systems from voltage spikes caused by simultaneous startup. This makes the SEQR series especially valuable in installed AV environments: multi-zone sound systems, conference rooms, auditoriums, houses of worship, and any facility where equipment racks are distributed across multiple rooms or buildings.
The series spans 4-step and 8-step configurations and offers both barrier strip and pass-thru RJ45 connection types, so integrators can match the sequencer to existing infrastructure and compatible RPC or relay devices without re-wiring. Activation options include front-panel rocker switch and key switch, with provisions for external triggers such as remote switches, alarm systems, or DSP connections on applicable models. An alarm interface is included to satisfy local building code requirements in life safety applications. LED status indicators provide at-a-glance confirmation of sequencing state during commissioning and troubleshooting.
