The Lowell SMG-2 is built for AV integrators and commercial audio installers who need a reliable analog pink noise source at the core of a sound masking system. It generates a continuous pink noise signal across two independent outputs, giving the system designer flexibility in how the signal is conditioned before it reaches power amplifiers and loudspeakers. The pre-EQ output delivers a flat spectrum suitable for feeding external equalizers in applications where precise spectral control is required, while the post-EQ output provides onboard bass, mid, and treble shaping for less demanding installs that do not require a separate EQ stage.

This generator fits naturally into office environments, open-plan workspaces, healthcare facilities, and any installation where conversational privacy is a functional requirement.
