The Lowell SMR Series is a low-profile steel wall rack engineered for AV integrators and network installers working in confined spaces. Designed to mount switches, hubs, and similar networking equipment either horizontally or vertically, it fills a specific gap in small-footprint installations where floor or full-depth wall rack solutions are impractical. Available in 2U and 4U rack space configurations, the series adapts to a range of equipment loads without requiring a larger enclosure footprint.
Construction centers on 16-gauge steel with a smooth-black powder-coat finish built to hold up in utility closets, server alcoves, and behind-wall AV infrastructure. Bi-directional keyhole slots on standard 16-inch mounting centers give installers genuine flexibility in orientation, and the adjustable 10-32 tapped rails reposition in three depth increments to fit varying equipment chassis depths and cable routing needs. Bridge lances on the extended rear panel provide secure cable attachment points, keeping cable management clean and strain-free inside the rack.
