The Lowell UPS8 Series is built for AV integrators, systems engineers, and IT professionals who need reliable, network-grade power protection for installed rack systems. Pure sine wave output ensures compatibility with sensitive DSPs, amplifiers, servers, network switches, and other electronics that react poorly to the stepped approximation waveforms produced by less capable UPS designs. Line interactive topology actively corrects voltage sags and surges without switching to battery, preserving battery life and extending runtime when conditions deteriorate further.
Each unit ships with a 4-point rack rail kit supporting enclosures with a minimum 22-inch depth, plus tower pedestals for freestanding use. Eight NEMA receptacles, a 2U chassis profile, and a smart LCD display make this a clean, manageable component in any equipment rack. The programmable receptacle group allows staged load shedding, while temperature compensation and auto restart after full discharge reduce the need for manual intervention in unattended installs.
Available across multiple power ratings from 800VA to 2200VA, and with or without bundled SNMP network management, the UPS8 Series scales to match the load requirements and remote monitoring needs of conference rooms, AV head-end closets, broadcast infrastructure, and similar installed environments. A three-year warranty covering both electronics and battery reinforces the long-term value in permanent installations where replacement logistics matter.
