The Lowell VDS-2-2032 is a 2U adjustable-depth rack shelf designed for AV integrators and systems installers who need to rack-mount oversized or non-standard equipment in deep enclosures. By expanding from 20 to 32 inches in depth, it accommodates gear that fixed-depth shelves cannot support, making it a reliable solution in control rooms, equipment rooms, and installed AV systems where equipment dimensions vary.

Constructed from 16-gauge steel with a smooth black powder epoxy finish, the VDS-2-2032 is built to handle demanding load requirements up to 250 lbs, making it suitable for heavy amplifiers, power conditioners, and other substantial rack components. Front and rear flanges mount securely to both front and rear rails on 27, 32, or 36-inch deep racks, distributing load evenly rather than relying on front-rail support alone. Rear lacing points and cable access openings support clean cable management within the enclosure, while bottom vents allow airflow to pass through, reducing heat buildup for sensitive equipment below.
