The grandMA3 extension is designed for lighting professionals who need distributed playback control without duplicating a full console footprint. It connects via Ethernet to grandMA3 full-size, light, and replay unit models, making it a practical surface for follow spot callers, keylighting board operators, and remote media server operators working in theatrical, touring, or broadcast environments.
The built-in letterbox multi-touch screen gives operators direct visual feedback at the remote position, while 60 freely configurable playbacks provide the flexibility to mirror or independently manage cue stacks and executors. Fifteen motorized 60 mm faders retain position feedback across scene changes, and 30 RGB backlit rotary encoders allow parameter-level control at the satellite position — capabilities that distinguish this unit from passive or display-only remote surfaces.
