The grandMA3 Compact XT is built for owner/operators, lighting directors, and production companies who need the full depth of the grandMA3 ecosystem without the footprint of a full-size console. Its dual internal foldable multi-touch monitors and comprehensive command area mirror the workflow of larger grandMA3 surfaces, reducing retraining time when operators move between rigs.

Out of the box, the Compact XT ships with 8,192 control parameters and scales to 250,000 parameters per session when paired with additional grandMA3 processing units — making it a practical investment for small to mid-size touring, theatrical, and corporate event production where rig complexity can grow over time. The 60 separate playbacks, 15 motorized 60 mm faders, and 16 assignable x-keys give lighting programmers the hands-on control surface density needed for busked performances or complex cueing environments without relying on software workarounds.

Backward compatibility with grandMA2 software ensures operators working in hybrid or transitional lighting networks can maintain continuity across legacy and current systems. Three etherCON connectors support reliable network integration into installed or touring data infrastructures, while six DMX outputs and one DMX input handle direct universe management at the console level.
