The grandMA3 compact is built for owner/operators, lighting directors, and touring LD teams who need a full-featured console in a portable form factor. With 8,192 onboard control parameters standard, it covers small-to-medium professional entertainment lighting without external processing, while remaining scalable to 250,000 parameters when paired with grandMA3 processing units — making it a long-term investment as production demands grow.

The console delivers a command structure nearly identical to MA Lighting's full-size grandMA3 line, including a complete command area, 40 separate playbacks, 16 assignable x-keys, a dedicated master area, and both motorized faders and RGB backlit encoders. A single internal foldable multi-touch monitor keeps the footprint compact without sacrificing direct display access, and support for one external multi-touch screen extends the workspace when needed. Three etherCON connectors enable direct integration into MA-net3 show networks, and six DMX outputs plus one DMX input serve standard fixture infrastructures.

For lighting programmers who split time between touring, one-off events, and tech-desk positions, the grandMA3 compact eliminates the need to operate unfamiliar consoles.
