The grandMA3 replay unit is designed for lighting engineers and integrators who need the full power of the grandMA3 platform in a rack-mountable form factor. Its 19" housing makes it a natural fit for permanent installations in theatre, broadcast studios, and architectural lighting systems, as well as a reliable backup controller for touring and live production rigs.
Unlike traditional consoles, this unit intentionally omits physical faders and buttons, reducing the risk of unintended input during critical playback. Operation is handled through an integrated multi-touch command screen or via a USB-connected mouse and keyboard, keeping the interface clean and operator-controlled. Two additional external multi-touch screens can be connected for expanded visual real estate on complex shows.
With six DMX outputs, one DMX input, three etherCON network connectors, and five USB ports, the replay unit supports a wide range of control architectures. It is fully compatible with both grandMA2 and grandMA3 software, protecting investment in existing show files and workflows while scaling into next-generation system designs.
