The grandMA3 onPC 2Port Node 2K PoE is purpose-built for lighting programmers and integrators who need to extend a grandMA3 onPC software system into real DMX universes without a full console. By bridging Ethernet to DMX512-A, the node unlocks the maximum 4,096-parameter ceiling of the onPC platform and connects directly into an existing PoE-capable network infrastructure, eliminating the need for a separate power supply run at the node location.
In touring contexts, the half-width 1RU form factor fits cleanly into a shared rack without consuming full-width real estate, while the robust etherCON and powerCON TRUE1 connectors stand up to repeated patch cycles. For permanent installations — theatres, houses of worship, broadcast studios — the same unit can be remotely configured from any console or onPC station within the session, reducing maintenance overhead across distributed DMX runs.
Protocol flexibility is built in: the node handles MA-Net3, MA-Net2, sACN, and Art-Net simultaneously, and full RDM compliance allows bidirectional fixture communication over the same DMX lines.
