The LD Systems LDS-MAILAARRAYRCS is a protective rain cover designed for LD Systems MAILA array configurations in live event and outdoor production settings. It is intended to protect one MAILA SAT and one MAILA SPA module, or two SAT modules, whether used in a ground-stacked setup or a flown array. For crews working in changing weather, it provides practical protection while still allowing the system to remain accessible during deployment and operation.
A detachable transparent window supports access to the control and connection area while helping maintain ventilation around the amplifier section. When used with two SAT modules, the rear transparent panel can be exchanged for a closed rear element. The back section can also be opened to allow mounting and tilt-angle adjustment without fully removing the cover. Its modular Velcro-based design also allows it to extend compatible MAILA ARRAY covers for broader system protection in more complex setups.
The front section uses impregnated acoustic fabric to preserve sound transmission while the rain-repellent construction helps shield the system during outdoor use. For applications requiring more complete overhead water protection, it can be paired with the MAILA HOOD RC S. Made in Germany, this cover is a practical accessory for production providers and system operators who need weather-ready protection without giving up operational access.
