The LD Systems LDS-MAILAARRAYRCXL is a rain cover designed for LD Systems MAILA flown array configurations. It is intended to protect one MAILA SPA power amplifier together with as many as eight MAILA SAT modules, while also remaining suitable for shorter arrays when needed. For production teams and rental departments deploying MAILA outdoors, it provides a practical way to keep the system covered without losing access to key operating areas.
This cover uses rain-repellent material and an impregnated acoustic fabric across the front so the array can remain operational while protected. A removable transparent window gives access to the control and connection panel and supports ventilation around the amplifier section. At the rear, the cover opens with Velcro to simplify module installation and tilt-angle adjustment during setup. The Velcro-based modular design also allows it to be combined with other MAILA rain covers for configuration-specific coverage across the system.
It is especially useful for flown array applications where weather protection must work alongside rigging access and day-of-show adjustments. For comprehensive protection against water entering from above, LD Systems notes that the MAILA HOOD RC L is required as an additional hood.
