The LD Systems LDS-MAILASPA is the dedicated amplifier module within the MAILA system, built to power and manage up to eight MAILA SAT satellites in scalable live sound configurations. Its unibody aluminum construction supports both compact ground stack builds and larger flown array deployments, making it a central system component for users who need a clean, modular approach to coverage planning. SmartLink+ allows compatible satellites to slide into place for signal distribution without conventional cabling between modules, helping streamline setup in event, rental, and production environments.
At the core of the module is an integrated 2-channel DSP power amplifier delivering 1.25 kW RMS, paired with SysCore DSP for system control and processing. Automatic detection of connected satellites supports faster configuration, while manual DSP adjustment remains available directly on the device or through the free MAILA app for iPadOS. The app also assists with recognizing installed MAILA components and preparing system setup before deployment. LogoLink integrates the wireless antennas into the LD logo, preserving the clean exterior while enabling wireless communication and software updates.
