The LD Systems LDS-MAILASUB15 is a compact powered 15" subwoofer built for low-frequency reinforcement within the active MAILA system. Its bass reflex design and 1.25 kW total output support strong, controlled sub performance for modern live sound applications where footprint, setup speed, and system integration matter. With support for ground stacks of up to three units, it fits well in portable rigs, small-to-mid production systems, and scalable event deployments.
For system configuration, the subwoofer offers onboard DSP control as well as wireless connection to the MAILA app on iPadOS using integrated LogoLink technology. This streamlines setup, helps identify individual speakers, and supports fast adjustment in real-world event environments. A top docking plate allows direct mounting of either an M20 speaker pole or a MAILA COL, making the enclosure practical for compact column-style and satellite-based system builds.
The wooden cabinet uses a touring-grade polyurea coating for durability in repeated transport and day-to-day use. Combined with convection cooling, integrated protection features, and a straightforward XLR signal path, the LDS-MAILASUB15 is suited to professionals who need reliable low-end extension in a portable powered format.
