The MAC Encore Wash WRM is engineered for lighting designers and production teams who demand incandescent quality from an LED source. Its 468 W custom Martin LED engine delivers 3000 K warm white output with a CRI, CQS, and TLCI all exceeding 90, making it a technically credible replacement for tungsten Fresnel fixtures in broadcast, theatrical, and live event environments where color fidelity is non-negotiable. Variable CTB extends the color temperature range to 7000 K, and CMY color mixing expands the palette from saturated primaries to smooth pastels, all without the color shift during dimming that plagues competing LED wash fixtures.

For touring and installation applications, the fixture's internal barndoor system with two independently controllable shutter blades and a full plus or minus 100 degree module rotation eliminates the need for external accessories in most rigging scenarios. The Animotion FX system provides built-in dimming macros for mid-air and projection effects, while 3-phase stepper motors with absolute position monitoring deliver the cue repeatability that programmers expect on complex shows. Pan covers 540 degrees and tilt covers 268 degrees, and the convection-plus-forced-air cooling system with user-definable fan levels keeps noise to a minimum in quiet theatrical environments.

With 24 DMX channels, 16-bit control over dimming, pan, and tilt, full USITT DMX512-A and ANSI/ESTA E1.20 RDM compliance, and firmware updates via USB or over the DMX link, the MAC Encore Wash WRM integrates cleanly into any professional control infrastructure. The fixture ships with two omega brackets and is available in different packaging configurations to suit touring or installation workflows.
