  • Temperature-Regulated Low-Noise Cooling Supports Quiet Operation In Broadcast Environments

The MAC Ultra Wash is built for lighting directors and production designers who need class-leading output, precise color control, and bulletproof reliability across touring, concerts, broadcast, and performing arts applications. At its core is a custom 1150 W, 84-LED engine that delivers 90,000 lumens at the light engine and 63,500 lumens at the fixture, making it the brightest wash fixture Martin Lighting has produced. A 220 mm front lens and a motorized zoom spanning a 1:7 native range give operators the flexibility to cover tight specials or wide stage washes from a single fixture without compromise.

Where competing fixtures force a choice between output and control, the MAC Ultra Wash provides both. CMY color mixing with variable CTO from 5800 K down to 2850 K, a six-position interchangeable dichroic color wheel including a Spectral Enhancement Filter, motorized frost, motorized iris, and variable edge control give programmers a comprehensive toolkit for any production scenario. Four selectable dimming curves and 16-bit resolution on all critical parameters mean smooth, repeatable looks whether the console is running DMX, Art-Net, sACN, or Martin P3 video mapping.

Designed to survive the rigors of repeated touring, the MAC Ultra Wash features a high-impact flame-retardant thermoplastic housing with a temperature-regulated, low-noise cooling system rated for continuous operation up to 40 degrees C. A 50,000-plus-hour LED lifetime and a 5-year light engine warranty reduce total cost of ownership compared to shorter-lived alternatives. Galvanic-isolated RS-485 data transceivers, a built-in Ethernet switch with fail-safe bypass, and support for RDM over Art-Net make the fixture equally suited to permanent install and fast-turnaround rental inventory.
