Control flexibility sets this fixture apart from fixed-protocol alternatives. The VDO Sceptron 10 supports native Martin P3 control with full VideoMapping and PixelMapping, direct DMX operation, and a hybrid mode that allows real-time toggling between all three via the P3 Switch channel — without rewiring or reconfiguring the rig. The P3 System Controller family handles intuitive addressing and mapping, while RDM compliance allows integration with third-party controllers. Pixel-level brightness and color calibration across the entire LED array ensures consistent output when fixtures are used in continuous surfaces or mixed with VDO Fatron and VDO Dotron products.
The extruded aluminum profile mounts in any orientation using M6 captive nut channels, with a full ecosystem of coupler, spigot, and floorstand accessories for fast reconfiguration between venues. Field-exchangeable diffusers and lenses — including flat, round, tube, NoBlend, and asymmetric wall-washing options — clip directly onto the fixture without tools, giving crews the ability to change the fixture's visual output to match production requirements on site.
