The Martin MAC One is built for lighting designers, rental operators, and production companies who need high-output performance without the weight and bulk of traditional moving heads. Its custom 120W RGBL LED engine produces measurably higher color quality than RGBW fixtures, with calibrated CRI, TM-30, and TLCI ratings that satisfy broadcast and theater standards. The 150mm Fresnel lens delivers a soft, even wash across a 4 to 27-degree zoom range, while a defined narrow beam mode reaches 375,000 cd peak intensity. The 24 RGB backlight LEDs within the lens add a pixel-mappable eye-candy layer that sets the fixture apart from single-function compact heads.

For touring and rental applications, the MAC One addresses the real-world economics of production. Its low weight allows more fixtures per truss load, reducing truck count and labor costs without sacrificing visual impact. The ultra-quiet cooling system, rated as low as 23.0 dB(A), makes it suitable for theater and broadcast environments where noise is a disqualifying factor. Battery-powered display operation simplifies addressing and setup without a dimmer or power feed, and fail-safe bypass on Ethernet ports keeps shows running through network interruptions.

Integration flexibility is a core design priority. The MAC One accepts DMX, Art-Net, sACN, and Martin P3 control, supports RDM over Art-Net, and offers four DMX channel modes from 20 to 108 channels depending on control depth required. Compatibility with the VDO Grid Mount System, MAC One Family Fourbar, and verified City Theatrical accessories extends its deployment range from grid installations to tight truss configurations. More than 200 built-in FX macros, P3 video mapping, and crossfade between DMX and video looks give designers expressive tools well beyond what the fixture's size suggests.
