Martin Lighting VDO Atomic Spigot Adapter 28mm

The Martin Lighting VDO Atomic Spigot Adapter 28mm is a purpose-built mechanical accessory designed for lighting designers and riggers deploying VDO Atomic Bold fixtures in live production, concert touring, and broadcast environments. It integrates directly with the VDO Grid Mount System, allowing fixtures to be positioned on standard 28mm spigot rigging hardware without the need for improvised solutions or incompatible hardware adapters.

For rental companies and production houses managing large-scale VDO Atomic Bold arrays, this adapter provides a straightforward interface between the fixture's mounting architecture and the spigot-based truss and stand infrastructure already common in professional touring rigs. It is part of the broader ecosystem of Martin mechanical accessories that includes interlock doublers, pivot couplers, half couplers, and double-width brackets, all engineered to work within the same VDO mounting framework. Specifying OEM-matched hardware eliminates fit and load-path uncertainty that can arise with third-party alternatives.
