Martin Lighting VDO Atomic Bold Interlock Doubler

The Martin Lighting VDO Atomic Bold Interlock Doubler is a mechanical mounting accessory engineered specifically for the VDO Grid Mount System. It enables lighting designers and riggers working in concert touring, broadcast television, and corporate event production to expand their VDO Atomic Bold arrays into larger battens, grids, and custom shapes without requiring additional structural hardware.

Rental houses and production companies running VDO Atomic Bold fixtures will find this coupler essential when scaling arrays for wide-stage audience blinder rigs or pixelmapping surfaces. The interlock mechanism maintains the fixture's industry-recognized center-to-center spacing, keeping multi-fixture configurations geometrically consistent and simplifying both pre-rig and on-site assembly.

Compared to generic rigging adapters, this accessory is purpose-built to mate with the VDO Atomic Bold's octagonal housing and native interlock mechanics, ensuring a secure, repeatable connection across every deployment. For productions that already run VDO Atomic Dot or MAC One fixtures, the shared interlocking mechanics allow mixed-array builds through compatible coupler accessories in the same system.
