The Martin MAC Aura XIP is the first compact moving head wash in its class rated for outdoor use, combining Martin's XIP smart weatherproof technology with the MAC Aura family's distinctive filament Aura backlight effect. Delivering 6,000 lumens through a 196 mm lens at IP54 protection, it provides 360,000 cd peak beam intensity and a 6.3°–50.4° zoom range with an even, zero-hotspot wash field and minimal stray light. The RGBW engine supports Full Gamut Color Calibration across Direct, Extended Gamut, and Calibrated Color modes with CTC range from 1,000K to 12,850K.

Seven individually addressable 60W RGBW beam LEDs provide the main output with per-pixel RGB control in Extended DMX mode. Twelve 4W RGBW Aura filament LEDs operate independently for the signature halo effect, each individually controllable via DMX or Martin P3 video mapping with crossfade between video and lighting cue control. Both systems support independent dimmer, strobe, color temperature, tint, and virtual color wheel parameters.

At 8.95 kg with a 25.2 dB(A) Theater/Broadcast noise mode, the MAC Aura XIP is deployable across festival outdoor stages and indoor theater or broadcast environments without acoustic compromise. Battery-powered control panel, RDM over DMX and Art-Net, seven DMX modes including XB crossbar-compatible modes, and Ethernet fail-safe bypass provide complete control system flexibility. The included SoftLens attaches to the front lens and remains installed inside the SiP flightcase during transport.
