The NETGEAR GSM4230UP-100NAS is a managed AV network switch built for 1G AV over IP environments where clean rack integration and fast deployment matter. Its rear-facing port layout helps keep installed systems orderly, while the simplified AV-focused interface supports rapid profile assignment at the port level. For integrators and live production teams working with networked video and audio, that means less time spent on baseline switch setup and more time focusing on system performance.

This model provides substantial PoE++ capacity for connected endpoints such as AV over IP encoders, decoders, and other powered devices in centralized installations. NETGEAR IGMP Plus enables multicast functionality out of the box for many AV applications, reducing configuration overhead in common deployments. Auto-trunk and auto-LAG support also help when linking with compatible M4250 and M4300 switches in larger systems.
