The single-phase, 3-conductor design with Circuit Breaking Capability (CBC) mates exclusively with powerCON XX Series receptacles, making it a direct upgrade wherever a secure, keyed mains connection is critical — from amplifier racks and stage power distros to installed AV systems requiring IEC 60799-compliant cord sets.
Color coding and differential keying between power-in and power-out versions physically prevent intermating errors during fast changeovers in live production environments. The two-component molded housing provides an ergonomic, slip-proof grip, while the integrated locking bushing and strain relief mechanically self-align during assembly — reducing build time and technician error in the field.
