The Neutrik NC3MD-LX-BAG is a DLX series 3-pin male XLR chassis receptacle designed for audio engineers, systems integrators, and production professionals who demand the highest level of electromagnetic compatibility and signal integrity at every panel connection. Its compact all-metal zinc diecast housing replaces the plastic retention bar found on conventional XLR receptacles with an all-metal version, significantly improving pull-out force and mechanical durability under the rigors of touring and installed AV environments.

Built around Neutrik's duplex ground contact system, this receptacle ensures continuous chassis-to-cable-connector grounding, making it the ideal pairing with Neutrik's EMC XLR cable connectors in installations where RF interference is a concern — broadcast racks, touring analog stage boxes, and installed system patch panels alike. The D-style housing conforms to industry-standard D-sub mounting dimensions, making it a direct drop-in replacement for existing panel cutouts without additional machining or adapters.

Solder cup termination with enlarged contact areas accommodates wire up to 2.5 mm² / 14 AWG, reducing the chance of cold joints in high-cycle installations. An optional pin 1-to-chassis ground connection adds further flexibility for grounding scheme configuration. Rated IP40 and compliant with IEC 61076-2-103, this receptacle is engineered for long-term reliability in professional signal chain infrastructure.
