The Neutrik NE8MC6-MO is a field-termination etherCON CAT6 cable-end connector designed for production environments where reliable, rugged network connections are non-negotiable. It is built for touring engineers, systems integrators, and broadcast technicians who need to terminate CAT6 data runs on-site without specialized crimping equipment. The integrated Molex CAT6 RJ45 plug, metal zinc diecast shell, and chuck-type strain relief come assembled as a single unit, reducing termination time and eliminating common failure points associated with separate plug assemblies.
Rated IP65 in mated condition, the NE8MC6-MO withstands dust ingress and water jets — making it appropriate for outdoor stages, festival infrastructure, and any install where exposure to the elements is a concern. The Push-Pull locking system provides a secure, audible connection that resists accidental disconnection under cable tension. The shielded construction delivers high noise immunity and EMI rejection across CAT6-specified frequencies, supporting data rates up to 10 GBit/s for bandwidth-intensive AV-over-IP, Dante, and AES67 network topologies.
Compatibility is strictly limited to Neutrik NE8FDY-C6 series CAT6 chassis receptacles. This connector is not interchangeable with etherCON CAT5 or CAT6A panel connectors. Specifying the correct chassis receptacle at the design stage is critical for installations that must meet CAT6 Class E performance standards under TIA/EIA 568B, ISO/IEC 11801, and EN 50173.
