By accepting the most common pre-terminated RJ45 plugs, it converts a standard network cable into a robust, lockable connector assembly without requiring specialized termination tools or pre-configured cable assemblies.

At the core of this carrier is a zinc diecast shell with a unique chuck-type strain relief that resists pull-out forces and cable flex damage — two failure points that plague standard patch cables in stage boxes, network-dependent DSP systems, and Dante or AVB audio networks. The flat spot on the housing aids orientation during fast connections in low-light environments, a practical advantage on stage or in rack installations.
