The Neutrik NE8MX6-B is built for AV integrators, touring engineers, and system technicians who need a field-terminatable, ruggedized Ethernet connector that holds up under real-world production conditions. The zinc diecast shell and proven chuck-type strain relief are designed for repeated deployment and high cable-pull environments — not the patch-panel calm of a server room.

This connector suits installed AV systems, touring network infrastructure, and broadcast facility cabling where CAT6A transmission performance and Power over Ethernet are required simultaneously. Its compliance with ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA/EIA 568-C.2 at CAT6A component level ensures it meets the throughput demands of modern AV-over-IP, Dante, and AVB networks. PoE++ support per IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 means it can carry high-wattage powered device loads without derating.

The NE8MX6-B is intermateable with the existing etherCON CAT5 chassis range, protecting legacy infrastructure investments while upgrading transmission performance. When mated with NE8FDX-P6-W or NE8FDX-Y6-W chassis connectors, the assembly achieves IP65 environmental sealing — suitable for outdoor stage use or any environment with moisture and dust exposure. Note: this connector does not intermate with NE8FDY-C6 or NE8FDY-C6-B chassis connectors.
