The Neutrik NF2C/2B is a pair of professional-grade RCA phono plugs designed for audio engineers, system integrators, and technicians who require reliable, low-noise signal connections in live sound, installed audio, and broadcast environments. Both plugs are marked black for easy channel identification during cable fabrication and patch bay work.

Where standard consumer RCA connectors introduce noise during hot-patching, the NF2C/2B makes ground contact before signal and breaks signal before ground — a critical design choice for protecting speaker cones and eliminating audible pops in active systems. The chuck-type strain relief accommodates cable outer diameters from 3.0 mm to 7.3 mm, with an optional accessory relief extending coverage up to 8.0 mm, giving technicians flexibility across a range of cable constructions.

Precision-machined brass shells with 5 μm gold over 5 μm nickel plating on contacts ensure low contact resistance and long-term signal integrity across more than 2,000 mating cycles. The improved ground solder lug simplifies field termination, and the soft-touch barrel with colored shrink sleeve delivers a professional finish suited for permanent installs and touring rigs alike.
