The Neutrik NL4MMX is a 4-pole speakON inline adapter engineered for live sound and installed audio applications where reliable cable extension is critical. It allows two NL2/4F female connectors to be joined directly, making it the right choice when touring rigs or fixed installations require extended speaker cable runs without custom-terminated assemblies.

Unlike passive barrel adapters, the NL4MMX incorporates Neutrik's Quick Lock mechanism and a second locking stage that permanently converts the adapter to male gender once engaged — eliminating the risk of unintended disconnection in high-vibration environments. The dual-lock design is especially valuable in stage setups where cable tension or incidental contact could otherwise interrupt signal to amplified loudspeakers.

Rated for continuous duty at 15 A per contact and tested to withstand over 5,000 mating cycles, this adapter meets the mechanical and electrical demands of professional amplifier-to-cabinet signal chains. Silver-plated bronze contacts and a glass-reinforced polyamide body ensure low contact resistance and long-term durability across the temperature ranges common in touring and fixed-installation environments.
