The Neutrik NL8FC is an 8-pole female cable-end speakON connector designed for audio engineers, systems integrators, and touring production crews who demand a termination solution that holds up under repeated use and demanding environments. Its Quick Lock latch mechanism ensures a positive, audible connection that won't release under vibration or cable stress — a critical requirement in live sound and fixed installation scenarios where loose speaker connections are unacceptable.
With screw-type terminals that accommodate up to 4 mm² wire and a chuck-type strain relief system supporting cables from 8 to 20 mm in diameter, the NL8FC accommodates a wide range of speaker cable gauges without adapters or workarounds. Contacts are rated at 30A rms continuous and are touch-proof, meeting IEC, UL, and CSA safety standards — making them suitable for permanent installed sound as well as high-power touring applications. The high-impact polyamide shell and zinc diecast locking element are built to survive over 5,000 mating cycles.
