The Neutrik NL8MMXX is an 8-pole speakON feedthrough coupler designed for audio engineers and system integrators who need to extend existing speakON-terminated speaker cable runs without re-terminating. It is the go-to solution for touring productions, installed sound systems, and theatrical rigs where cable management requires inline extensions between amplifier outputs and loudspeaker inputs.
Built around Neutrik's proven Quick Lock mechanism, the NL8MMXX secures both mating connectors without tools, reducing unintentional disconnections during live events. Silver-plated copper alloy contacts maintain low contact resistance across repeated mate cycles, and the zinc diecast shell with black chrome plating resists wear in demanding stage and install environments. The polyamide insert is UL 94 V-0 rated, meeting flammability requirements for permanent or semi-permanent installations. With a rated current of 25 A rms continuous per contact and a dielectric strength of 1.5 kVac, this adapter handles high-power loudspeaker signals confidently in professional PA and installed audio contexts.
It is important to note that speakON connectors are rated exclusively for loudspeaker-level signal and must never be used as mains or power supply connectors. The NL8MMXX is intended for audio signal path use only, consistent with all speakON series products.
